Loved our stay here! Enjoyed relaxing on the sun terrace with a book and soaking in the warm atmosphere of the quirky old hotel. Parking was a bit tricky, but overall, everything was great, definitely recommend it! 😊

    Charming Stay with Friendly Staff

Had a lovely time during our short stay. Highlights included a spacious room with a great work area and a fantastic breakfast. Staff were welcoming and attentive. Enjoyed dining in the lounge bar, but be sure to request a quieter area if you prefer a peaceful meal.

Charming hotel with great dining options

This lovely old building right in the heart of town had a wonderful atmosphere and character, with friendly staff that made us feel welcome. The dining experience stood out, especially the delicious evening meals like the hake and toffee pudding. While the parking situation was a bit tricky, overall, my stay was quite enjoyable and I'd definitely come back.

    pleasant staff
    comfortable room

The Royal treatment, I tell ya. My room was snug but clean & comfortable, with a coffee pod machine that was a surprise I didn't see coming. The staff worked hard & were very pleasant, all while the food was just right for my needs, well cooked and tasty.

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but still reasonable for what you get.

    perfect location
    impressive breakfast
    dated room

The location is perfect, right in the town center. The room was a bit dated but cozy. Breakfast options were really impressive and fresh. Housekeeping could've been better on the second day. it felt rushed.

    creaking floorboards
    minor noise

I had a fantastic stay at the Royal Seven Stars Hotel! My room was a charming blend of historic character and modern comfort, complete with a cozy armchair perfect for reading. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, accommodating my late checkout request. The meals were absolutely delightful, particularly the vegetarian options I enjoyed each night.

The creaking floorboards could be a bit noisy at times.

    spacious room
    helpful staff
    delicious food
    small bathroom
    short stay

The stay was quite enjoyable, especially with the spacious standard double room and the lovely food at the restaurant. The staff was exceptionally helpful, which made our early morning breakfast experience superb. Being centrally located allowed us to easily explore the attractions around town. the bathroom space felt a bit cramped for comfort, which was a minor downside.

Lovely Stay with Room for Improvement

We had a pleasant two-night stay, with a comfortable Standard Double Room. The location felt cozy and local, perfect for exploring Totnes. Dining was hit-or-miss, so maybe opt for the nearby cafes for a more reliable meal experience. Check breakfast prices carefully!

The location was perfect for exploring nearby trendy shops and experiencing the local market. The staff provided pleasant and attentive service, which made our family feel welcome and cared for.

The room seemed a bit outdated compared to the overall charm of the area.

    charming bar
    slow service
    outside noise

The hotel exudes character with friendly staff and a charming bar, although the breakfast service can be a bit slow. My room was clean and comfortable, but I noticed some outside noise and minimal traffic noise from the street, which was a tad distracting.
